31st January 2025
From 27th to 31st January, our Year 4 pupils embarked on an unforgettable adventure at Rapids Camp, Sagana. They took on the mighty River Tana through tubing and rafting, balancing excitement and fear while working together to navigate the rapids. Beyond the water, they engaged in team-building activities that strengthened their communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
A scenic hike on the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya tested their endurance while providing an opportunity to observe diverse flora and fauna, making meaningful connections to their Science lessons on habitats. Each evening, they gathered around the campfire to share stories, bond, and roast marshmallows, creating lasting memories under the stars.
Throughout the trip, the Year 4s impressed with their resilience, determination, and teamwork. Whether conquering rapids, hiking through nature, or working together in challenges, they embraced every experience with enthusiasm. Their adventure in Sagana was a journey of growth, bonding, and discovery — one they will never forget!
