Year 4 had a fantastic time bringing history to life by creating their own Anderson shelter models! As part of their World War II studies, pupils worked hard to design and build miniature versions of these iconic air raid shelters. Using a variety of materials, they showed great creativity and teamwork in constructing their models. The aim of the project was for pupils to reflect on what life for people in the shelters must have been like, as well as to consider the importance of peace in the world. Well done to all our young historians for their enthusiasm and effort!
A big thank you to all the parents for supporting our pupils at home throughout this project. Your encouragement and involvement have been invaluable!
