Year 4’s Creative WWII Shelters

7th February 2024

In Year 4, pupils delved into the intricacies of World War II, exploring its origins, key players, significant events, and the lasting impact on global history. As part of their engaging project work, students were challenged to construct models of Anderson shelters, the iconic refuge for many Britons during air raids.

We applaud the imaginative and detailed models crafted by our Year 4 pupils, highlighting their creativity and, more importantly, their understanding of the shelters' significance during World War II. Kudos to Year 4 students and their supportive parents for contributing to this enriching learning experience both in the classroom and at home.
