Year 5 Gives Back!

8th May 2025

Year 5 has shown incredible compassion and initiative, raising an impressive Ksh. 58,200 through bake sales and home-based chores. Their efforts supported a special community outreach initiative at Maria Immaculata Hospital, where a group of sixteen pupils and two teachers purchased and delivered essential items to expectant mothers enrolled in the hospital’s antenatal education program.

Working in two teams, some of our Year 5s focused on thoughtfully selecting the items, while the other ensured they were delivered with care. This meaningful project aligned with the hospital’s mission to uplift vulnerable members of the community and provided pupils with a powerful, real-world opportunity to contribute meaningfully.

We are deeply grateful to all parents and guardians whose support made this initiative possible. Inspired by Churchill’s words, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give,” our Year 5 pupils have exemplified the spirit of giving. Their compassion and teamwork made a lasting impact, proving that even young hearts can bring about powerful change.
