Year 5 in the Sun and Sand!

Year 5’s adventure to Mombasa took place from 17th to 20th June. It was an exciting blend of discovery, culture and fun, blessed with favourable weather throughout. Pupils explored the natural beauty of Haller Park, where feeding giraffes was a hit, and stepped back in time at Fort Jesus, uncovering rich coastal history.
Aboard the elegant Tamarind Dhow, our pupils enjoyed a scenic cruise and delicious local dishes, making for an unforgettable sunset experience. Free time was filled with swimming, beach games and poolside fun, sun, sand, and lots of laughter.
Evenings brought the group together for movie nights and a lively disco, creating joyful memories and new friendships. Pupils' reflections captured the spirit of the trip: fun, educational, and full of once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
