Year 6 Become One with Nature at Elsamere

12th March 2026

In week 8 and 9, Year 6 visited Naivasha, for an unforgettable adventure packed with thrilling activities and unique experiences. Their stay at Elsamere Lodge began with an exciting visit to Crescent Island, where students strolled among giraffes and waterbuck before a boat ride through hippo-filled waters. Evenings were just as lively, with campfire games and bonding with friends.

The adrenaline spiked the next day at Hell’s Gate. The pupils tackled rugged mountain biking trails and tested their strength with rock climbing, pushing their limits in one of Kenya’s most iconic landscapes. After an action-packed morning, a soak in the naturally heated Geothermal Spa served as a well-earned reward.

The journey continued at Florencia Blooms, a specialist sustainable farm. Students went behind the scenes to see how vibrant flowers grew at high altitude and discovered the eco-friendly secrets of the global flower trade. To wrap up the trip, the adventure took a meaningful turn at the MWIFAIPAM Community Project. Students got hands-on with crocheting, charcoal briquette making, and block making, learning new skills while giving back to the community.

From high-energy sports to heart-centered community work, it was a fantastic week for Year 6!
