A fun curriculum day was enjoyed by all.
The Tudor monarchs ruled the Kingdom of England and its realms, including their ancestral Wales and the Lordship of Ireland (later the Kingdom of Ireland) from 1485 until 1603, with five monarchs in that period: Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I.
Year 6 pupils learning about the Tudors, their family structures, challenges they experiences and of their times, and the nature of their society. To reinforce the knowledge acquired, the pupils engaged in a myriad of activities during this enriched curriculum day. Some of the fun activities included: designing Tudor houses and clothes; and creating Tudor games and food recipes.
