Year 6’s Creative Electric Inventions

9th February 2023

This term Year 6 were tasked to create a working electric circuit for their Science Project work, and the results were truly electrifying;

  • Neevan and Prajeet created an alarm system that is triggered when a domestic water tank is full.
  • Ayii created a toy boat with a working motor that enables it to move on water.
  • Audrey, Inaya, Lucia and Stacy created a working torch.
  • Zohid created 2 flying planes.
  • Rameen and Hanan created toy racing cars powered by a motor.
  • Yula created a candy cooler machine using two motor powered fans.
  • Maria created a moving robot made out of cardboard.
  • Robin created a parallel circuit that lights up a series of lights within a house.
  • Aila created a rotating ferris wheel.
  • Ava created a washing machine powered by a motor.
  • Anaamayan created a light up number board.
  • Karim and Serene created a red and green traffic light system.
  • Nolawi created a fan that could be powered by any device with a USB port.
  • Ela created a tea cup merry go round powered by a motor.

…and so many more working circuits created by the pupils in Year 6.
