Year 7s Camp at Batian’s View

30th June 2023

From the 26th to 30th June, Year 7 pupils embarked on a 4 night camp at Batian’s View in Nanyuki. It was great to see the Year 7s embracing every aspect of the trip, learning valuable lessons and acquiring new skills. This is what they had to say about their experience:

“The trip was a great chance to explore Nanyuki and make new friends. I definitely developed resilience, braving the cold weather conditions like a pro! But by far learning how to cook was the greatest challenge!

Enzi

“I really enjoyed the activities that were set for us. They were executed well and really tested our limits.”

Kavan

“Cooking outdoors with my friends was by far my favourite part of the trip. We would sit around the cooking pot, telling each other stories and deciding what ingredients would make the food tastier.

Edelawit

“I really enjoyed the zip line and going on the screamer. It was both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time.”
