Year 8 Explore Shapes, Angles, Lines and Points in Geometry

In mathematics lessons this term, Year 8 pupils have immersed themselves in the world of shapes, lines, angles, surfaces and solids, facing the geometry topic head on; rulers, protractors and compasses in hand. They enjoyed exploring, measuring and constructing angles, taking time to analyse the relationship between angles on parallel lines and other geometric shapes. The Year 8s also engaged in games and activities to prove the geometric rules that they have learnt during lessons, activities which inspired many budding engineers and architects.
