Year 8 Face Climate Change Head On!

20th March 2023

On Monday 20th March, Year 8 pupils went on a field trip to Kereita Forest to help them reinforce their learning on the visible impacts of climate change in our communities, as well as to understand what different groups are doing to create solutions to the problem.

To also do their part, our pupils got a chance to plant trees within the forest, as well as voice their own ideas about what more could be done to develop sustainable practices that can be implemented not just in Kenya, but around the globe.

It was encouraging to see the future generation care about the environment, and also begin to see that they too are an integral part of the solution.
