Year 9 French Trip
14th June 2025
Our fabulous French class of year 9.5 had their day trip on 23rd May to the Alliance Française in the morning, followed by a lovely lunch at the French bistro, Chez Sonia.
We started the day with the screening of the French movie 'Les Choristes' with English subtitles.

They then broke off into small groups and completed a quiz on the movie, followed by other vocabulary games. All questions were in French, and the leader at Alliance Française was very impressed by both the students' ability to understand so much French, but also their engagement and competitive nature!
We made our way to Chez Sonia, where everyone chatted, exchanged stories, encouraged each other to try their meals, and lots and lots of laughter.
The whole class made Braeburn proud with their behaviour and how smart they all looked. They also showed kindness and politeness to everyone we encountered.
I look forward to being able to take them on more French trips in the future.
